Then ask: what would protect that thing without creating a bigger cost tomorrow? Do / Do Not Do Do not Make the next step small enough to repeat Wait for the perfect emotional state Use body signals as information Use discomfort as a verdict Ask for support early Turn support into a last resort One Useful Experiment listen for one behavior pattern, then write the cue, reward, and a kinder replacement.
